Our Post 16 course aims to further develop skills which the young people have learnt earlier in their school career.  Post 16 are based in the Old Hall and the course lasts for 3 academic years.

Many students take advantage of the increased emphasis on work related learning and enjoy extensive work placements.  Our on-site vocational programmes are popular and many students spend several hours a week studying one or more of the available courses.

Some students need a life-skills focus and we have extensive facilities which allow them the opportunity to experience these in a safe environment.  Often these students will spend some time in residence extending their skills and seeing what time away from home feels like.

Some of our students will continue on a class based route and take further qualifications including entry level, Asdan,Skills for Working Life and NPTC qualifications.
