During years 10 and 11 pupils will begin to experience more work related education.  Option groups run which enable the children to make choices between performing arts, horticulture, motor vehicle technology and music technology.  Courses are also run with local colleges and pupils will get the opportunity to go on work experience for the first time.

Our most academically able pupils will work towards external accreditation and this may be at GCSE level.  We offer English and Maths GCSE on-site and pair with other schools if we have a child who is very able in another subject area.

All pupils will work towards accredited courses and we aim to ensure they have a portfolio by the age of 16.
